Craig Manning is the founder of Nomu Finance, a New Zealand consumer finance brokerage helping people access personal and vehicle lending through a panel of lenders. Nomu Finance operates under a Class 1 FAP licence (FSP1011169).
With more than 20 years of experience across consumer lending, banking, and fintech, Craig has worked across New Zealand and international financial services markets. His career spans lending operations, product strategy, marketing, and data-driven customer acquisition, with a consistent focus on improving customer outcomes in regulated environments.
Prior to founding Nomu Finance, Craig held senior roles at AA Money, Barclays Investment Bank, HSBC Private Bank, Zempler Bank, Kensington Mortgages, and AXA Insurance across New Zealand, the UK, and international markets.
Nomu Finance was established as both a licensed brokerage with an R&D vehicle for responsible lending technology, work supported by a Callaghan Innovation grant and Craig's research at Auckland University of Technology.
Craig created the Nomu blog as a practical resource for New Zealanders navigating the lending process, whether buying a first car, managing existing debt, or simply trying to understand how credit and approvals work.
